Farthing were proud to be guests of Red Rose Chain's Theatre in the Forest 'Twelfth Night' at Sutton Hoo. A fabulously entertaining night with Shakespeare's eternal tale of separated twins, gender mix-ups and yellow stockings, honouring the memory of their Founder, Jo ❤️

Since Artistic Director Joanna Carrick formed the company in 1990, Red Rose Chain has been a beacon in the community for those needing a place to belong, and we were very honoured to have been entrusted with the funeral arrangements for Jo earlier this year ❤️

Red Rose Chain is a not for profit theatre company based at The Avenue Theatre in Ipswich, delivering a vibrant professional and community programme, creating high quality productions, community projects and new plays 🎭

Thank you, Red Rose Chain, it was a wonderful evening and Jo would truly be proud ❤️

A truly touching moment during this lovely lady's final journey, as we paused outside the care home where she was so loved, the staff came out to form a guard of honour in her memory. Alongside beautiful flowers courtesy of Murtons florist ipswich 🌸

A huge congratulations to our colleague, Taris, on receiving her 5 Years of Service award for volunteering with the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal.

Taris gives her time each year to support the Poppy Appeal at her local supermarket. Her appreciation for those who served has always been close to her heart, and through caring for many veterans in her role with us, that gratitude has only grown.

We're so proud of your dedication, Taris ❤️

We had the privilege of caring for Karlie and witnessed first-hand the love her family have for her. They are now working tirelessly to raise awareness and campaign for changes in the law to ensure deaths caused by strangulation are treated with the seriousness they deserve.

🌸 𝑪𝒐𝒅𝒅𝒆𝒏𝒉𝒂𝒎 𝑶𝒑𝒆𝒏 𝑮𝒂𝒓𝒅𝒆𝒏𝒔 🌸

Today, our colleague Taris enjoyed a lovely afternoon at the Coddenham Open Gardens event with her daughter, Mila.

The event takes place every two years, and this year it raised funds for St Mary's Church, helping to preserve this much-loved part of the village, as well as supporting the Suffolk Accident Rescue Service.

It was wonderful to see so many people coming together to support their local community.

A huge thank you to everyone who opened their beautiful gardens for all to admire 🌷 It was great fun and all whilst raising funds for two fantastic causes.

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of David Spall, 1950 - 2026

David is much loved and always remembered.

His funeral service will be held at Sevenhills Crematorium on 3rd July 2026 at 10:30am.

This announcement of the forthcoming arrangements has been shared in the hopes it reaches the many friends David has made over the years.
