🖤 My biggest one is the start of the class - how do you gather attention to let people know we are starting?!! I usually go for “right let’s start off in… (lying standing etc) - instructors - how do you start class?!!

đź–¤ Not just Pregnancy Pilates! A whole range of classes across the week!

đź–¤ I am usually only marketing regarding my pregnancy and post natal classes as obviously they have a turnover of clients! But I do offer quite a number of other classes - so here is my weekly schedule for my next block - the first full week of September classes starting tomorrow

đź–¤ There are only a handful of spaces across the schedule- have a look at my stories for where the spaces are or get in touch

🖤 I have quite a number of people awaiting a beginners class so I think this will be a go from the start of October - it will be Fridays at 9:15am - get in touch if you’d be interested

What a great month, if at times a little 🥹 at waving goodbye to a few clients temporarily, some mamas to be whose babies will most likely have arrived by the time our next block starts, and as always mums heading back to work - some of whom have been coming to classes for the last 18 months or so! The good news is a couple of them are continuing with Pilates - the none baby friendly version!

It was fun to host an outdoor event - it’s been an absolute pleasure to meet & work with Hannah- thank you for the opportunity on this your first year of opening

Thanks to Claire for the lovely gifts - it was my pleasure to offer you the treatment room to use to enable you to complete your massage therapy course, and even better that I got to be a case study too!

A few other studio related bits which have made me very happy- the mats are looking a little more organised, and the door now opens like a dream!

All that’s left for me to do now before Wednesday is write some class plans and September will be a goooooo!

🤰 Can you exercise whilst pregnant? Yes absolutely- it’s highly recommended for nearly all pregnancies, and can help manage our mental and aspects of physical health (such as risks of pre-eclampsia and gestational diabetes) too

🤰 Can you meet other pregnant women & build friendships? Absolutely - throughout the last few years of offering these classes I know that lots of you have forged some strong friendships to help you through matrescence

🤰 Can I help you with some factors related to pregnancy? Absolutely- we can adapt positions in class, I can signpost you to other professionals & resources to help

🤰 When are Calm & Control Pregnancy Pilates classes? My classes are Mondays at 5:30 & 6:30pm & we start again on the 7th September - they’re 45 minutes long, I think to start with their will only be space in the 5:30pm class - space coming up in the 6:30pm class towards the end of September so message to enquire/put your name on my waiting list

🤰 Why Mondays? To start your week off well- and I remember - work or wrestling toddlers and being pregnant is no joke - I know you get more tired as the week goes on!

🤰 Never done Pilates before? No problem- the majority of clients joining these classes haven’t either - but you’ll soon get hooked! A great addition to any exercise you already do, or to keep you active through your pregnancy if you don’t currently have any specific sporting hobbies
