🏆⭐️🎉 WE ONLY WENT AND WON IT!!!! 🎉⭐️🏆
💚🐴 TEAL CIC — WINNERS OF BEST FAMILY BUSINESS 2026! 🐴💚
We are absolutely OVER THE MOON to announce that TEAL CIC has WON Best Family Business at the Kent Business Awards 2026 — Tunbridge Wells! 🏆🥹❤️
WOW!! What an incredible evening and what an amazing achievement for our little family-run Community Interest Company!
Almost 12 years ago, two sisters, Lucy-Anne and Lisa, set out on a journey inspired by a very special little girl — Lisa’s daughter and Lucy-Anne’s niece, Tiffany, who was born with a rare chromosome disorder. 💚
Our thinking was simple…
If we could make a difference to just ONE more young person’s life, everything we were doing would be worthwhile.
Never in our wildest dreams did we imagine where that journey would take us!
From starting out in an empty stable to becoming a multi-award-winning alternative education and equine-assisted learning provider, developing our own accredited courses and now expanding through TEAL TEACH™ — what a journey it’s been! 🐴🌿
❤️ And this award really is a FAMILY achievement!
🔨 To our Dad & brother and their business, Paddock Builders, who have worked tirelessly to bespoke-build both our sites, creating environments that meet the needs of our learners and, just as importantly, our wonderful horses.
❤️ To our amazing mum, who volunteers her time, gets stuck in wherever she’s needed and helps with so much of the behind-the-scenes paperwork and administration.
💚 To our incredible team, who share our passion, believe in what we do and help make TEAL the special place it is.
🐴 And of course, to our wonderful horses and animals, who play such an important part in everything we do!
TEAL has always been so much more than a business. It’s our family’s passion, our life’s work and something we’ve poured our hearts into. ❤️
But our biggest achievements will ALWAYS be the young people we support.
Every qualification gained, every friendship formed, every moment of confidence, every barrier overcome and every young person who begins to believe in themselves again.
THAT is why we do what we do. 💚
To all our students, families, supporters and everyone who has been part of our journey — THANK YOU!
And to the Kent Business Awards, thank you for recognising our family business and the work we do. 🏆
We are feeling incredibly proud, emotional and grateful tonight!
🥂🎉 BEST FAMILY BUSINESS 2026 — WE DID IT!!! 🎉🥂
Here’s to our family, our amazing team, our wonderful young people and the next chapter of TEAL! 💚🐴
TEAL CIC — Enjoy & Achieve 💚
