This afternoon, residents thoroughly enjoyed a guitar session with a selection of familiar tunes. Everyone joined in enthusiastically, singing along and having a go at learning some of the songs. The session created a lovely atmosphere and was enjoyed by all.

At Westside, residents enjoyed a sensory activity exploring familiar herbs and spices. They had fun guessing the different scents, sharing stories, and reminiscing about past memories. The activity encouraged conversation and engagement, and residents thoroughly enjoyed taking part.

We enjoy playing Snap! It is always such a joy to see the residents having a laugh and enjoying some friendly competition.

We enjoyed a fun game of balloon tennis. The activity encouraged gentle exercise, movement and coordination while providing plenty of laughter. Staff joined in, creating a cheerful atmosphere and friendly competition. Residents chose names for both teams, and after an exciting match, Team Red won the game. Everyone enjoyed the session and was happy to celebrate together.

We host this lunch on the last Friday of every month at 12:30 PM for anyone in the community aged 60+. For just £5, you get a great meal, a soft drink, and even better company. 💙
