Clean diet. No alcohol. Staying hydrated. Getting everything in place at home. And mentally preparing, which she will tell you is its own kind of work.

Surgery went fine. Recovery was harder than she expected.

Louise came round feeling good. Two weeks later she was walking around her house and needing to sleep for an hour afterwards. Getting up from a chair was a challenge she had not seen coming.

This is what a mummy makeover looks like before a single incision is made. Mr Alfie mapping out the full plan by hand, considering the abdomen, the waist, the breast, the overall proportions of this particular patient's body and how everything needs to work together to produce a result that feels balanced and completely natural.

Layer by layer. This is where the real consultation begins.

Skin quality good, but loose, with a tethered caesarean scar that needs addressing and more excess above the belly button than average. Fat sitting underneath and around the back, best treated with 360 liposuction. And a choice between standard and power-assisted liposuction, the latter giving smoother, more even results with fewer irregularities.
