REHAB YOUR INJURY

As players progress through the FSCR rehab pathway we rebuild physical and technical qualities that focus on doing the basics consistently well. This helps build confidence as we continue progressing towards a full return to performance.

IMPROVE YOUR PERFORMANCE

The 50 pass game is a staple in our MD-1 session. It is a simple 5v2 possession game where the first team to reach 50 consecutive passes takes the win.

MD-1 should be a short, sharp and competitive session with a bit of fun getting the players sharp ahead of matchday.

REHAB YOUR INJURY

As part of our warm-up for our pitch rehab sessions we will always add a fun and engaging exercise to stimulate reactivity, communication and teamwork.

This brings the athletes together ahead of the rehab session where they are required to help each other achieve their session objectives.

REHAB YOUR INJURY

Quade is progressing through the Load Introduction phase of his hamstring rehabilitation.

Load Introduction is the transition from early clinical management into structured rehabilitation.
The focus is on rebuilding muscle capacity, reintroducing key movement patterns and progressively increasing load while monitoring the athlete’s response.
This phase creates the physical foundation required for the higher demands of later-stage rehabilitation.

INSIDE THE LAB

With ACL injuries, rushing the return-to-play process can significantly increase the risk of
re-injury.

The goal isn’t simply to get a player back on the pitch. It’s to make sure they’re prepared for the demands of the game when they return.

For professional players, a setback can mean another long period away from football. For younger athletes, it can also interrupt a crucial period of physical and technical development.

Don’t rush the process.

REHAB YOUR INJURY

Change of direction is a skill, not just a physical quality.

In the rehab we rebuild change of direction ability through structured skill acquisition, progressing from blocked practice, to serial practice, and finally random practice to challenge adaptability and decision-making.

The aim is to restore the technical skill of decelerating, repositioning and re-accelerating under increasingly representative demands.
