People often describe overwhelm as the feeling they have when they are facing many demands and they don’t feel able to manage or cope. Overwhelm can appear to be a sudden feeling – like a firework exploding or falling off a cliff – but the stresses, the decisions, the choices, the demands have very likely been building and building until it all just feels like ‘too much’. It can be like emotional paralysis or like being crippled with indecision. Even simple tasks can feel like ‘too much’. Does this sound familiar? Have you ever felt like this?

When your friend messages to suggest a trip to the beach on a hot weekend, does your heart sink? Do you wonder how you can get out of it? Is your mind is constantly asking:
‘Can people see my stomach?’
‘Do I look bigger than everyone else?’
‘Should I even be here?’”

Hot weather can feel emotionally exhausting when your mind is constantly asking these sorts of questions and it can feel like you are stuck in a loop because the more you have these thoughts, the lower you feel, the less you like your body and the lower your motivation to change anything.

Hypnotherapy and EFT tapping can help you to change your perception of your body, accept it for all the amazing things that it CAN do, and to feel comfortable just wearing whatever you want to!

London has been very hot recently! When everyone around you is dressed in shorts and skimpy vests, are you the one still wearing trousers and long sleeves because you can't imagine what people would think if you let them see your body! The very thought creates a horrible knot of anxiety in your stomach. But what if those thoughts about how ugly and unattractive your body is were just mean, unhelpful thoughts that your brain has created? What if no-one else minds what your body looks like if you feel comfortable and happy?
