A huge congratulations to Jo, our Carer of the Month for June! 💛

Jo consistently shows incredible care and determination in her role, always going above and beyond for her clients. Recently, she has made a special effort to involve clients in everyday activities – from fun tasks and cooking together, to even buying beautiful pansy plants for them to nurture and care for together🌼

On top of this, Jo has kindly given up her own personal time to take clients out on walks during the lovely weather, creating meaningful moments and bringing so much joy to our clients’ lives🤍

Our wonderful carer, Alice is running the London Marathon this Sunday in support of two amazing charities— Samaritans and Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice🩵

Alice is taking on this challenge with nothing but courage and determination, which we truly admire her for. Her commitment to raise awareness and funds for these amazing causes clearly means so much to her and is deeply influential to all of us at Daisychain🌼

🌼Day sits in Bakewell and surrounding areas🌼

Our team leader Alisha recently enjoyed a wonderful day out with our service user Peter in Bakewell!
They started their trip with a relaxing stop at the Wheat Sheaf for a drink, before heading to the Co-op for a bit of shopping. Making the most of the beautiful surroundings of Bakewell, they spent some time by the lake watching the ducks and local wildlife pass by. The day continued with a visit to the Peace Gardens where they treated themselves to a lovely ice cream before heading back home.

Our carers just don’t stop being amazing!🌟

We would like to take a moment to give a very special shoutout to our carer, Amber for her outstanding work and dedication recently💛

Amber found herself in a highly challenging situation where emotions were high and a service user’s partner was understandably distressed and causing a scene. With professionalism, compassion and calmness, Amber stepped in, de-escalating the situation and provided reassurance when it was needed the most.

Her ability to remain composed under pressure and handle such a sensitive moment with empathy truly reflects the incredible standard of care we strive for every day🌼

Well done Amber! You are a credit to the team and very deserving of this additional Carer of the Month recognition👏

🌟CARER OF THE MONTH🌟

We have chosen Kadie as our February Carer of the month, as she was recently moved onto a new round in a complete different area. The change didn’t faze her at all, she adapted instantly and has already made a massive impact on the care and wellbeing of the clients on this run.
We have received multiple compliments from clients contacting the office, praising Kadie for her amazing work and for being such a lovely, kind person!

Kadie truly goes above and beyond every day, and we are incredibly proud to have her as part of our team 💛
