Mary Derrick is a passionate, dedicated and well respected Registered Occupational Therapist with over 20 years of experience in various clinical areas and settings. She is a member of the Independent Practice Specialist Section within the College of Occupational Therapy. The importance of

accessing opportunities for engagement in meaningful and purposeful activity within everyday life is fundamental to the professional assessments and further recommended interventions. The wealth of professional experience in different clinical areas and settings, supports her ability to use well developed transferable skills to provide thorough assessments and specialised interventions to a range of individuals who may be living with physical, cognitive, psychological difficulties that affect their level of functioning in everyday life. Mary holds a strong belief that individuals can gain an improved sense of health and well being through achievable person centred goal setting in order to access a balance in roles within self care, leisure and productivity.
