🗣️ Everyone deserves to have their voice heard.

Knowing your rights, feeling confident to express your views and being listened to can make all the difference - particularly when you're experiencing a mental health problem.

Our Advocacy Service works alongside people, their families and healthcare professionals to challenge stigma, tackle discrimination and make sure people's voices are heard, their rights are respected and they are treated fairly.

And we're proud of the difference our advocates make.

Between January and December 2025:
💙 8 advocates supported 712 local people

But behind every number is a person whose voice matters, whose confidence has grown and who has been supported to understand their options and speak up for themselves.

As one person shared:
"I'm more independent and unafraid to have difficult conversations with professionals so I can understand my options and care."

Meet Susan Lee, our Primary Care Co-ordinator! 💙

Susan is passionate about raising awareness of unpaid carers and helping them feel recognised, understood and supported.

In this video, she explores what it means to be an unpaid carer, challenges some common myths, and explains how GP practices can become more carer-friendly by recognising carers and helping them access the support they need.

Many people care for a family member, partner or friend without even realising they are an unpaid carer. By raising awareness and improving understanding, we can help ensure carers know they are not alone. 💙

Sometimes, it helps to talk to someone who just gets it. 💙

Mental health challenges can sometimes leave us feeling isolated, but reaching out and connecting with someone who understands can make a real difference.

Our Mutual Minds service brings people together through shared experiences, helping to create opportunities for connection, understanding and support. 🤝

Nobody should feel they have to face everything on their own.
