Month's Mind Acknowledgement
We, the family of the late John McCusker R.I.P., wish to express our heartfelt thanks and sincere appreciation to our extended family, friends, neighbours and the wider community for the many acts of kindness, sympathy, prayers and support shown to us following John's sudden passing.
We are deeply grateful to everyone who attended John's wake and funeral, sent Mass cards, sympathy cards and messages, telephoned, visited, offered words of comfort, or helped in any way during this difficult time. Your kindness and support brought great comfort to our family.
John's life was forever changed by a tragic childhood accident, yet throughout his life he was blessed by the kindness of many people. We especially wish to acknowledge all those who gave so generously of their time, friendship and care to John over the years. Your compassion, patience and unwavering support brought comfort, dignity and companionship to his life, and for this we will always be grateful.
A special and heartfelt word of thanks to our cousins, Zak and Adam, whose kindness, generosity and constant support meant so much to John. They cared for him with great compassion and were always willing to give of their time. We will never forget the goodness they showed him, and we pray that God will richly bless them and their families.
We also wish to sincerely thank Dick, Patsy and James for the important part they played in John's life. Their friendship, care and support meant more than words can express, and our family will always remember their kindness.
Our sincere thanks to Fr. Dermot for celebrating such a beautiful and comforting Funeral Mass, to everyone who participated in the liturgy, and to those who provided the music, readings and Prayers of the Faithful, making John's farewell so personal and meaningful.
We extend our gratitude to Gerard of Gogarty Funeral Directors and all the staff for their professionalism, compassion and dignity in carrying out the funeral arrangements with such care and respect.
We also thank everyone who helped in any way behind the scenes, whether by preparing food, directing traffic, providing refreshments, or offering practical help and support. Every act of kindness, no matter how small, was deeply appreciated.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust this acknowledgement will be accepted as a sincere expression of our heartfelt gratitude to all who supported John and our family.
John's Month's Mind Mass will be celebrated on Sunday 9th August at 12 noon in St. Patrick’s Church, Crossmaglen.
"The promise of his young life was forever altered by a tragic childhood accident. May he now rest in the gentle peace he always deserved."
