For decades, the vision of “Zorba the Buddha” inspired seekers around the world. The idea was simple yet powerful: combine the joy of Zorba with the awareness of Buddha. Dance and meditation. Celebration and consciousness. Earth and sky.
It was a beautiful symbol for its time.
But every era creates new symbols, new languages, and new ways of expressing eternal truths.
Today, I propose a new metaphor:
PK the Osho
This is not merely a change of name. It is a fresh expression of the same spirit of freedom, joy, awareness, and inquiry for a new generation.
The letters “PK” carry many layers of meaning.
PK means Pavan Karma — Sacred Action.�Every action becomes sacred when performed consciously.
PK means Pramanand Karya — Blissful Work.�Work is no longer a burden but a celebration.
PK means Playful Knowing.�Wisdom without heaviness. Intelligence without arrogance. Awareness with a smile.
And there is another beautiful meaning.
In common language, “PK” may suggest being tipsy. But PK the Osho is not intoxicated with alcohol.�PK is intoxicated with life.�Tipsy with love.�Tipsy with laughter.�Tipsy with wonder.�Tipsy with existence itself.
This divine tipsiness is the fragrance of a joyful heart.

In the mad, passionate dance of Meera diwani, PK recognizes the overflowing bhakti — the wild, unashamed love that makes one drunk on the divine Beloved. Meera danced without inhibition, lost in Krishna, turning every step into a prayer of total surrender and joy.

• कारण: 10 जून 2026 को एक्टिंग प्रिंसिपल बिकाश चंद्र पाल ने स्कूल फंड्स के कथित गबन, दाखिला फीस आदि में अनियमितताओं की शिकायत दर्ज कराई। चार लोगों (अकाउंटेंट सहित स्टाफ) के खिलाफ शिकायत थी। पुलिस ने अकाउंटेंट अभिक कुमार नाग और असिस्टेंट अकाउंटेंट सयान घोष को हिरासत में लिया। कंप्यूटर, दस्तावेज और अन्य सामग्री जब्त की गई।15
पुलिस ने रात भर नोट गिनने की मशीन चलाई और कुल राशि 1.77 करोड़ पाई। यह छापेमारी वित्तीय अनियमितताओं की जांच के दौरान हुई।
राजनीतिक विवाद
• बीजेपी का आरोप: यह पैसा स्थानीय तृणमूल कांग्रेस (TMC) नेता का ब्लैक मनी हो सकता है, जिसे स्कूल में छिपाया गया था। राज्य में TMC शासन के दौरान शिक्षा क्षेत्र में भ्रष्टाचार की परंपरा बताई जा रही है।10

शिक्षा में क्रांति का अर्थ है—

• अंधानुकरण नहीं, जागरूकता।
• केवल परीक्षा नहीं, व्यक्तित्व का विकास।
• केवल नौकरी नहीं, जीवन की समझ।
जब तक विद्यालयों में चेतना, ईमानदारी और मानवीय मूल्यों का पुनर्जन्म नहीं होगा, तब तक ऐसी घटनाएँ केवल समाचार बनकर आती रहेंगी।
ओशो के भावों में: “जिस शिक्षा से मनुष्य जागृत न हो, वह शिक्षा नहीं, केवल प्रशिक्षण है। और जिस समाज की शिक्षा सो गई हो, वहाँ भ्रष्टाचार जागता है।”

Friends, listen carefully…
Today, in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoJK), people have taken to the streets. Rawalakot, Muzaffarabad, Mirpur — everywhere there is pain screaming out. Empty stomachs, skyrocketing electricity bills, and against the power games that are crushing them. People are dying, bullets are being fired, children and women are injured, the internet is cut off. On one side is the Pakistani army, on the other are the helpless people — and in between, the same old story: the bloodshed of nationalism.
This is not just the story of PoJK.�This is the story of all humanity.
Humanity is suffocating within the borders of countries. There is no space left to breathe.
Look at Iran and Israel — threats, missiles, bombs from both sides. Mothers are weeping on both sides, children are lying soaked in blood. The same pain in Gaza, Russian shells raining down in Ukraine, homes burning. Attacks on the Afghanistan-Pakistan border, new borders being drawn every day in Africa — and somewhere old hatreds are coming alive in new forms.
What is all this?�These maps, these borders, these flags, these walls of “my country — your country.”
Man has divided the Earth into pieces, and now he himself is suffocating inside those pieces. The disease called nationalism has imprisoned humanity. Where there is a border, there are politicians. Where there are politicians, there is the game of power. And the game of power always demands blood.
The people dying in PoJK are the same human beings who are dying in Gaza, on the Iran-Israel border, or in the fields of Ukraine. There is no border in their pain. The air is one, the water is one, the sun is one — then why has man shrunk himself within these imaginary walls?
One World, One Government — this is the only path for humanity.
As long as words like “my Pakistan,” “my India,” “my Iran,” “my Israel,” “my Russia,” “my Ukraine” remain alive, wars will remain alive. Children will keep dying. Mothers will keep weeping. Nationalism is the biggest lie. It teaches us that “we” are different, “they” are enemies. But in reality, we are all members of the same human family.
The time has come to awaken.�Tear down these walls of borders. Come out of the prison of nationalism.
One World. One Government. One Humanity.

Sufi mystics who were executed by Muslim rulers for their radical spiritual views:
Mansur al-Hallaj (858–922 CE)
Mansur al-Hallaj was a Persian Sufi mystic, poet and teacher. He became famous — and controversial — for publicly declaring “Ana al-Haqq” (“I am the Truth” / “I am God”). This statement was understood by him as the complete spiritual union (fana) with the Divine, but orthodox religious scholars saw it as blasphemy.
In 922 CE, under Caliph al-Muqtadir in Baghdad, he was arrested. After nearly 11 years in prison, he was subjected to extreme torture: his hands and feet were cut off, he was whipped, crucified, and finally beheaded. His body was then burned. His ex*****on was carried out at the insistence of conservative ulama (Muslim jurists).
Even today, he is revered by many Sufis as Shahid-e-Ishq (Martyr of Divine Love).

Sarmad Kashani (c.1590–1661 CE)
Sarmad was an Armenian-Jewish mystic and poet who came to India. He converted to Islam nominally but lived as a naked faqir. He famously wrote:
“I am neither Hindu nor Muslim,�neither Jew nor Parsee.�I am a lover — a lover of the Beloved.”
He became the spiritual guide of Prince Dara Shikoh (elder brother of Aurangzeb). After Aurangzeb became emperor and established strict Sunni orthodoxy, Sarmad was arrested. When asked to recite the full Kalima (“La ilaha illallah”), he only said “La ilaha” (“There is no God”) and refused to complete it, saying he was still in search of God.
In 1661, on Aurangzeb’s orders, Sarmad was beheaded in Delhi near Jama Masjid. His tomb (dargah) still exists there and is visited by people of all faiths. He is also called Mansur-e-Sani (the Second Mansur).

Both great souls were killed by the political-religious authorities of their time for the same “crime”: crossing the boundaries of religious dogma in their search for direct experience of the Divine.
Their stories remain powerful reminders of the tension between mystical love and religious orthodoxy.

सरमत काशानी (Sarmad Kashani) 17वीं शताब्दी के एक प्रमुख रहस्यवादी कवि, सूफी संत और धार्मिक उदारवादी थे।
जीवन परिचय:
• जन्म: लगभग 1590 ई. में, आर्मेनिया या काशान (ईरान) में एक यहूदी व्यापारी परिवार में।
• मृत्यु: 1661 ई. में दिल्ली में औरंगजेब के आदेश पर मृत्युदंड (सिर काटकर)।
वे फारसी भाषा में कविताएँ लिखते थे। शुरू में वे व्यापारी थे, लेकिन भारत आने के बाद रहस्यवाद की ओर मुड़े।
महत्वपूर्ण घटनाएँ:
• भारत आगमन: 1630 के दशक में व्यापार के सिलसिले में सिंध के थट्टा (आज का पाकिस्तान) पहुँचे। वहाँ एक हिंदू युवक अभय चंद से गहरा आध्यात्मिक लगाव हुआ, जिसके साथ वे पूरे भारत घूमे।
• धार्मिक यात्रा: मूल रूप से यहूदी, उन्होंने इस्लाम कबूल किया (लेकिन नाममात्र का), और हिंदू दर्शन का भी गहरा अध्ययन किया। अपनी कविताओं में उन्होंने स्पष्ट कहा — “मैं न यहूदी हूँ, न मुसलमान, न हिंदू।”
• मुगल दरबार: दिल्ली में दाराशिकोह (शाहजहाँ के बड़े बेटे) के गुरु और सलाहकार बने। दाराशिकोह की तरह वे भी धार्मिक सद्भाव (सर्वधर्म समभाव) के पक्षधर थे।
विशेषताएँ:
• वे नंगे फकीर के रूप में रहते थे — कपड़े नहीं पहनते थे, जो उस समय की रूढ़िवादी समाज में विद्रोह था।
• कविताएँ: छोटी-छोटी फारसी रुबाइयाँ (चौपाइयाँ), जो प्रेम, ईश्वर, और धार्मिक संकीर्णता की आलोचना पर आधारित हैं।
• मृत्यु का कारण: औरंगजेब के सख्त इस्लामी शासन में उनकी उदार विचारधारा, नग्नता और दाराशिकोह से नजदीकी को धर्मद्रोह माना गया।
विरासत:
आज उनकी कब्र (दरगाह) दिल्ली में जामा मस्जिद के पास है, जो हिंदू, मुस्लिम, सिख और अन्य श्रद्धालुओं की पवित्र जगह है। उन्हें शहीद-ए-मोहब्बत (प्रेम का शहीद) कहा जाता है।
वे धार्मिक कट्टरता के खिलाफ सर्वधर्म समभाव और आध्यात्मिक स्वतंत्रता के प्रतीक माने जाते हैं।

“Society is very controversial” का मतलब:
यह वाक्य कहता है कि समाज स्वभाव से ही विवादास्पद, द्वंद्वपूर्ण और झूठा है। समाज नियम-कानून, नैतिकता, धर्म और परंपराओं के नाम पर इंसान की स्वाभाविक स्वतंत्रता, काम-वासना, क्रोध, प्रेम और सत्य को दबाता है। बाहर से वो शांति और व्यवस्था का दिखावा करता है, लेकिन अंदर से भरा होता है पाखंड, दमन, शोषण और अंतहीन विवादों से। समाज इंसान को “सामान्य” बनाने की कोशिश में उसे बीमार बना देता है।
अब एक बेबाक निबंध, ओशो के अंदाज़ में:
समाज — एक महान पागलखाना
सुनो, मेरे प्रिय मित्र…
समाज बहुत controversial है — यह कोई खबर नहीं, यह सत्य है। समाज ने तुम्हें जन्म दिया नहीं, बस कैद कर लिया। तुम्हें माँ की कोख से निकलते ही उसने लेबल लगा दिया: “यह लड़का है, यह लड़की है, यह हिंदू है, यह मुस्लिम है, यह अमीर का बेटा है, यह गरीब का।” और फिर शुरू हो गया तुम्हारी हत्या का सूक्ष्म कार्यक्रम।
समाज कहता है — “प्रेम करो।” लेकिन प्रेम की शर्तें लगा देता है। “शादी कर लो, वरना समाज क्या कहेगा?” प्रेम करने दो तो कहता है “अवैध संबंध!” प्रेम को जेल में बंद कर दिया गया है, नाम दिया गया है “पवित्र विवाह”। पवित्र? हाहा! पवित्रता का मतलब है — रात को चुपचाप एक-दूसरे को सहन करना, दिन में “जी” “जी” करके नाटक करना।
समाज सबसे बड़ा पाखंडी है। वह तुमसे कहता है “सेक्स मत करो, यह पाप है।” फिर वही समाज रात को वेश्यालय चलाता है, पोर्न इंडस्ट्री चलाता है, और फिल्मों में तुम्हें उकसाता भी है। दोहरा मापदंड — यही समाज का धर्म है।
तुम्हें स्कूल भेजा जाता है सीखने को, लेकिन असल में सिखाया जाता है गुलामी। “पढ़ो, नौकरी करो, EMI भरो, बच्चे पैदा करो, फिर मर जाओ।” यह जीवन नहीं, यह एक लंबा फॉर्मूला है मृत्यु का। समाज तुम्हें कभी खुद बनने नहीं देता। वह चाहता है तुम “नॉर्मल” रहो — मतलब मरा हुआ, बोरिंग, डरपोक।
जो थोड़ा सा भी जागता है, समाज उसे पागल कहता है। बुद्ध को पागल कहा, कृष्ण को चंचल, मैं (ओशो) को तो “सेक्स गुरु” कहकर जेल भेज दिया। लेकिन सच्चाई यह है कि समाज ही सबसे बड़ा पागलखाना है। यहाँ हर कोई दूसरे को देखकर जी रहा है। कोई अपनी आत्मा नहीं जीता।
समाज controversial इसलिए है क्योंकि वह प्रकृति के खिलाफ है। प्रकृति कहती है — “स्वतंत्र हो जाओ।” समाज कहता है — “चेन में बंध जाओ।” प्रकृति कहती है — “प्रेम करो, बिना शर्त।” समाज कहता है — “शर्तें मान लो, फिर प्रेम करना।”
मेरा संदेश बहुत सीधा है:
समाज से विद्रोह करो।�उसके नियमों को तोड़ो — लेकिन हिंसा से नहीं, जागरूकता से।�अपनी सेक्सुअलिटी को दबाओ मत, उसे समझो, उसे दिव्य बनाओ।�अपने क्रोध को दबाओ मत, उसे समझो, उसे ध्यान बनाओ।�धर्म के नाम पर दिए गए सारे कचरे को फेंक दो।�सच्चा धर्म केवल एक है — तुम्हारा अपना अनुभव।
जब तुम समाज की जंजीरें तोड़ोगे, तभी तुम इंसान बनोगे।�तब तक तुम सिर्फ भीड़ के एक टुकड़े हो — controversial समाज का controversial प्रोडक्ट।
विद्रोही बनो। ध्यान करो। प्रेम करो। और हँसो — क्योंकि समाज सबसे बड़ा मजाक है।
