What a lovely day in Skegness yesterday we had! We had beautiful fish and chips followed by an incredible ice-cream! Weather was lovely too! Memories were made by all!

Carers appreciation week we renamed to Staff appreciation week. We are incredibly proud of the staff here at Clifton View so we decided to put on a huge buffet for them! Thank you team Clifton View for all you do. 🙌

At 3pm on the 8th of May 1945 Winston Churchill made a national broadcast. In it he announced the welcome news that the war had ended in Europe. He said, my dear friends, this is your hour. This is not victory of a party of any class. It's a victory of the Great British Nation as a whole.

Just a little recap of what's been going off at Clifton View..... Our Ian celebrated his 91st birthday 🎂 🥳 Made some lovely cakes for Valentines day, followed by some amazing entertainment! Singing, dancing and laughing 🎶 Made pancakes 🥞 Tried to get pictures.... (before they got eaten) 😆. A lovely Chinese meal for the Chinese New year! few of us completed our Jigsaws, ping pong and table tennis, not forgetting our local church for a coffee chat and a sing 💖

🎶 Robin Hood Robin Hood riding through the Glen 🎶 what a magical day for the Robin Hood pantomime.... with our band of Merry men / women absolutely loved it! Laughter and tears throughout. We even entertained the tram on the way back with everyone joining in with our Robin Hood song ❤️

🎶 Walking in the Winter Wonderland🎶 Our residents enjoying a stroll around Nottingham Christmas Market, cheese tasting 🧀 some macaroons and even a little sip of chocolate flavoured Rum yum yum. Then for a nice cappuccino ☕ followed by some singing on the tram. 🥰😁

Thank you to everyone who came to celebrate bonfire night with us! We all had a great time. The residents of Clifton view stated that they enjoyed the fireworks and the company so thank you! 🩷🔥 🧨 🎆
