🎶 Free Dementia Music Café in Royton 🎶

People living with dementia, their families, and carers are all welcome—no musical experience is needed!

If you are unable to attend your appointment, please make sure to contact the surgery to cancel it. This allows us to offer the slot to another patient in need.

You can easily cancel your appointment via the NHS App or call the surgery on 0161 785 7910.

We understand it can sometimes be challenging to get a routine appointment with a GP or Nurse within your preferred time frame. Demand can be unpredictable, and missed appointments make it even harder for us to manage.

Thank you for helping us to keep the system running smoothly by cancelling any appointments you can’t attend.

Cervical screening is one of the best ways to protect yourself from cervical cancer, so it’s important to take up your invitation when it arrives.
If you’ve missed your cervical screening, the NHS may invite you to take an HPV self-test instead. If invited, you can order a kit, take your sample at home or somewhere private, and return it free by post.
You can’t opt in to HPV self-testing – if you’re eligible, the NHS will contact you.

If your child is moving up to a new school in September, come to one of our School Transition Events to learn about the support available 🏫

We're hosting four free School Transition Events where you can chat to teams including school nurses, Health Visitors, and Early Help Partnership Officers and more about the transition. It's an opportunity to talk through any concerns and have your questions answered 💞

The Connected Communities team will also guide you to the support available in your district, and our Parenting Support team can teach you and your child all about the teenage brain. And, you can learn more about the practical things your child will need in September, like an igo bus pass 🚌
