Lower-back pain can affect your swing, confidence and enjoyment of golf. You’re not alone. At Tay Sports Therapy, I help golfers understand their pain and return to play with confidence.
What we’ll look at
The golf swing needs mobility, strength and control throughout the body. Your lower back may not be the only area involved.
Limited movement in the hips, upper back or shoulders can change how your body handles the swing. Reduced strength or control may also play a part.
How the assessment works
We’ll discuss your symptoms and how they affect your golf. Then I’ll assess your movement, mobility and strength to identify relevant restrictions or weaknesses.
Your plan
You’ll receive appropriate treatment and a personalised plan to improve movement, build capacity and help you continue playing or return to golf.
The goal is more than short-term relief. You’ll understand what your body needs and have a clear plan to move forward.
