We’re taking part in Protected Learning Time (PLT) today, Wednesday 2 September, along with GP Practices across Tayside.

GP Practices throughout Tayside are committed to providing patients with the highest quality care. They participate in a number of Protected Learning Time (PLT) sessions throughout the year which allows them to provide access to training for the whole practice team.

Most GP Practices throughout Tayside will be closed for routine appointments between 1-6pm today (Wednesday 2 September) to take part in PLT sessions.
Please be assured, access to urgent care for patients will continue throughout this time.

During those hours on Wednesday 2 September, GP practices will continue to be contactable by phone to access urgent care which cannot wait until the practice reopens the following morning or to make any future appointments or medication requests.

GP surgeries will resume their usual working hours again on Thursday 3 September.

📣 Dermatology Waiting List Update – Action Required for Some Patients

From 1 June, NHS Tayside will begin contacting some patients who have been waiting over 60 weeks for a Dermatology appointment.

If you are affected, you may receive a text message or email asking you to confirm whether you still need your appointment. This will come via the secure Patient Hub system.

AFTERNOON CLOSURE: WEDNESDAY 3 June, from 13:00pm

In line with other NHS Tayside GP Practices, we will be closed on the afternoon of Wednesday 3 June for staff training.

We will be available if you require URGENT medical advice between 13:00pm and 6pm on Wednesday.

Normal services resume on Thursday 4 June at 8am
