A day doesn’t pass when I don’t think about that time. It’s something I still carry with me every day, and I will always share this information far and wide. If sharing my experience helps even one person recognise the signs, ask the right questions and get help sooner, then it’s worth it. I just hope nobody else has to go through the uncertainty and fear of waiting as long as I did for answers.

Blessed to still be here. ❤️
Blood thinners for life are the price I pay for that second chance 🙏

🫁 If you’ve had a pulmonary embolism (PE), you may have come across terms like “bilateral PE” or “saddle PE” in your medical records or conversations with your healthcare team. But what do those terms actually mean?

Understanding the language used to describe a PE can help you better understand what happened to you or a loved one — and feel more prepared for conversations with your healthcare team.

One thing that’s especially important to remember: the location of a clot is only part of the picture. Healthcare providers consider multiple factors when evaluating how a pulmonary embolism is affecting the body.

❤️ If you’ve experienced a PE, don’t be afraid to ask your healthcare provider to walk you through your scans, test results, treatment plan — and what they mean for your recovery.

🚨 And know the warning signs. A pulmonary embolism can be life-threatening and requires immediate medical attention.

A little update from me! It’s been a busy few weeks, but I will be back Hayling Bike Night next week for the last one this year.

What a gorgeous afternoon with Dutch Dan and I’ve made a new friend 🐾

If you don’t already please follow Aaron in Purbrook, The Village bakery and cafe please give him a follow and, more importantly, give this a share. ❤️

He’s raising money for Rowans Hospice this month, as part of the amazing charity work he does every single month. He’s made some incredible donations and is now raising money towards a cuddle bed for Rowans Hospice a special bed that allows someone nearing the end of their life to lie beside the person they love. ❤️

I popped into the café last week and met Aaron, and left my flyer on his local board, which supports businesses in the area.

Rowans Hospice are absolutely amazing. They supported me last year, so this one is particularly close to my heart. 🥰

It would be absolutely fantastic if we could help Aaron reach his target and get Rowans that cuddle bed.

If you can donate a prize, donate to the fundraiser, or simply SHARE this post & any of their posts, every little bit helps. ❤️

Please support Aaron and this wonderful cause. 🙏🏻❤️
