πŸ’‰ Flu Vaccinations 2026

Our flu vaccination clinics will be starting from 1st October 2026.

If you are eligible for a flu vaccination, you do not need to contact the surgery initially. We will contact all eligible patients directly with information about arranging their vaccination.

Please keep an eye out for a text message, letter or other communication from the practice.

If you believe you are eligible but have not heard from us by mid-September, please contact the surgery so we can check your eligibility and ensure you receive the appropriate information.

Thank you for your patience and cooperation. We look forward to seeing you at the surgery. πŸ’™

Urgent announcement!
πŸ“ž MISSED APPOINTMENTS UPDATE – AUGUST πŸ₯
During the month of August, 178 appointments were booked but missed (not attended) by patients at our surgery
Many of these patients had received a text reminder before their appointment, while others had booked an appointment on the same day and still did not attend.
Every missed appointment is time that could have been offered to another patient who needs to be seen.
If you are unable to attend your appointment, please let us know as soon as possible. Even a little notice allows us to offer your appointment to another patient.
πŸ“² Ways you can cancel an appointment:
β€’ The NHS App
β€’ Call us on: 01772 503499
β€’ In person: Speak to our receptionist at the front desk

Thank you to everyone who lets us know when they can't attend. Your support really does make a difference and helps us provide the best possible care for our community πŸ’™

πŸšΆβ€β™€οΈ Falls Prevention – Stay Safe and Steady

Falls can happen to anyone, but there are simple steps you can take to reduce your risk and stay independent.

πŸ’š Keep moving – regular activity can help improve strength, balance and confidence.

πŸ‘Ÿ Wear supportive footwear – choose well-fitting shoes or slippers with good grip.

🏠 Make your home safer – keep walkways clear, secure loose rugs and make sure your home is well lit.

πŸ’Š Review your medicines – some medicines can increase the risk of dizziness or falls. Speak to your GP or pharmacist if you have concerns.

πŸ‘€ Look after your eyesight – regular eye checks can help you see potential hazards more clearly.
