Join the Community Roots team for a relaxed and welcoming Respiratory Interest Day, where you can meet others with shared experiences and help shape a new peer support group in Preston.

This is an opportunity to discuss what support would be most helpful, connect with others in a safe space, and find out more about how peer support can improve wellbeing.

World Ovarian Cancer Day 🎗️💙

World Ovarian Cancer Day helps raise awareness of ovarian cancer and the importance of recognising the symptoms early. Early detection can make a significant difference. 💙

Symptoms to be aware of include:
🔹 Persistent bloating
🔹 Feeling full quickly or loss of appetite
🔹 Pelvic or abdominal pain
🔹 Needing to urinate more urgently or more often

If you experience these symptoms regularly (especially 12 or more times a month), please speak to your GP. 🩺

Raising awareness and knowing the symptoms can help save lives. 💙
