I am Sarah and work in schools in Reading, Berkshire and Oxfordshire borders supporting children and young people to thrive in a difficult world.

The perfect end to this half term! A sunny day and some great sessions!

Therapeutic Sand Play is the perfect mental health intervention for young people who may find it hard to put their feelings into words.

I blew it today didn't I?! 🤣
Sometimes it can be the little things that can change the vibe in a room or trigger a child.

I'm only joking about the crisps but it illustrates my point that I take setting up my space seriously to ensure it feels:
✔️ Contained
✔️ Consistent
✔️ Comfortable

I am mindful of individual sensory needs by turning off overhead lights, wiping down tables and moving furniture about so the room looks the same each week.

It's about staying mindful and present, noticing the small things.

Working independently, I am able to concentrate on these essential details and deliver sessions that feel bespoke to the differing needs of every child.
