Depression is not just “in the mind.”
Neuroscience shows that depression affects the brain, nervous system, body, emotions, and subconscious patterns all at once. Chronic stress, trauma, emotional suppression, and negative thought loops can reshape neural pathways over time — keeping the body and mind stuck in survival mode.
This is why healing cannot always happen through logic alone.
The subconscious mind stores deeply rooted beliefs, emotional memories, and protective patterns developed through life experiences. These patterns are not only held in the mind, but also within the nervous system and body itself.
Through hypnotherapy and subconscious reprogramming, we work with the deeper part of the mind where these automatic emotional responses and beliefs are created. Using the brain’s ability to change through neuroplasticity, we can begin creating healthier emotional and mental patterns.
I also integrate somatic body work to help regulate the nervous system and release stored stress, tension, and emotional survival responses held within the body. Because anxiety, trauma, grief, and depression are not only psychological experiences — they are physiological too.
This work is about creating safety within the mind and body so healing can begin from the inside out.
