Sports Massage or Osteopathy — which should you book? 🤔

It’s something we’re often asked, and although there can be some overlap, the two appointments have a slightly different focus.

💆 Sports Massage with Harry focuses primarily on muscles and other soft tissues — helping with tightness, soreness, mobility, recovery and keeping your body moving well. And despite the name, you definitely don’t need to play sport to benefit!

🌿 Osteopathy with Rebecca includes a more detailed assessment of your symptoms, how you’re moving and what may be contributing to the problem, followed by treatment and advice tailored to you.

Not sure which one you need? Swipe through ➡️ for a simple guide.

And if you’re still unsure, just get in touch — we’re always happy to point you towards the most appropriate appointment. 💚

The bonus of working from home... ❤️

An unexpected no-show meant I got to spend a little extra time with such a smiley baby! Very excited that he can now sit up!!

Some silver linings are hard to complain about!

That said, if you can't make your appointment, please do let us know as soon as you can. It means we can offer the slot to someone else who may be waiting for treatment.

Thank you to everyone who lets us know in advance—it really is appreciated. Luckily this is very rare! 😊

It's about rebuilding well.

I'm now 5 months postpartum, and I've been trying to take my own advice.

I started with the basics:

✨ Core control and stability. ✨ Gentle breathing and pelvic floor work.
Then I gradually added: 💪 Pilates. 💪 Bodyweight exercises.

Now I'm slowly bringing weights back into my training. They're still light, and I'm listening to my body every step of the way.

Some days still feel really hard, and I don't feel like doing anything. But I've learnt that even 2 minutes of movement is better than none.

It doesn't have to be perfect—it just has to be a start.

Research continues to show that progressive strength training after pregnancy can improve bone and tendon adaptations, supporting long-term recovery and function.

Every woman's journey is different, and there's no race to "get your body back." My goal is simply to build a body that feels strong, capable and supports me for years to come.

Whether you're 6 weeks, 6 months or several years postpartum, it's never too late to start rebuilding strength.

💚 Progress over perfection. 💚 Movement is medicine.

🚶‍♀️ Walking isn't "just a walk"... it's one of the simplest ways to invest in your health.

We often think exercise has to mean intense workouts, but research shows that something as simple as regular walking can have a powerful impact.

✅ Can help reduce the recurrence of low back pain
✅ Supports heart, brain and bone health
✅ Builds muscle strength and balance
✅ Boosts mood and mental wellbeing

Even changing your pace with short bursts of faster walking (interval walking) may help improve bone density.

The best exercise is the one you'll actually do consistently... and walking is something almost everyone can start today.

How many steps or minutes do you aim for each day? Let us know below! 👇
