Samhain – When the Veil Grows Thin
Before Halloween became a celebration of costumes, pumpkins and trick-or-treating, there was Samhain, an ancient Celtic festival marking the end of the harvest and the beginning of the darker half of the year.

For our ancestors, this was a sacred turning point in the Wheel of the Year.
The harvest had been gathered, the earth was preparing to rest, and families would gather around the warmth of their fires, sharing stories and remembering those who had gone before them.

It was believed that at Samhain, the veil between our world and the spirit world grew thinner, allowing a greater closeness between the living and those in spirit.
As a Psychic Medium, I find this tradition particularly beautiful.

For me, our connection with those we love does not belong to just one night of the year. Love doesn't follow a calendar, and neither does remembrance.

But Samhain offers us a lovely opportunity to slow down, light a candle, remember our ancestors, and perhaps share a story about someone whose love and influence still live within us.

It is also a time to reflect on what we are ready to leave behind as we move towards the quieter months, trusting that, just as nature rests before awakening again, we too have our seasons.

So, however you choose to spend Halloween, whatever your beliefs, take a quiet moment to remember those who walked before you, those who helped shape the person you are today.

For although the seasons change, love remains.

💜 **Why I Love Teaching Reiki** 💜

One of the things I enjoy most about teaching is watching people begin to discover what something means to them.

Reiki has been part of my own journey for many years, and over that time my understanding and experience have continued to grow.

But what I love about teaching Reiki Level I is that everyone arrives with their own reasons for being there.

Some are curious. Some are interested in working with Reiki for themselves and their families. Others may be taking the first step towards further training.

And each person brings something unique to the day.

I don't expect everyone to have the same experience or understanding. I simply offer a welcoming space in which to learn, explore and practise.

Because sometimes the first step isn't learning everything.

It's discovering what might be possible. 🌿

TAROT TUESDAY – THE CHARIOT (VII)
Boudicca – The Warrior Within

This week, we meet The Chariot, represented by Boudicca, the legendary warrior queen.

The Chariot is a card of determination, courage, willpower and moving forward with purpose. It reminds us that true strength isn't necessarily about overpowering others, but about knowing what we stand for and having the courage to follow our own path. There is a strong sense of fairness, standing up for those who need someone in their corner. But what I admire most is that her strength is balanced with compassion.

She is a mother, wife, daughter and lover of animals and nature. Like so many of us, she wears many hats yet somehow keeps those wheels turning!

The two horses represent the different forces and directions that can pull us through life. The Charioteer reminds us we don't have to silence those forces; we can learn to guide them with intention and balance.

If this resonates with you today, The Chariot asks you:
Where in your life are you being called to take charge?

Or perhaps, more importantly...
Are you moving in the direction your heart truly wants to go?

For me, this card carries a simple message:
You are being pulled in different directions, but true strength is knowing when to stand firm, when to be gentle, and when to move forward.

💜 **Why I Love Teaching Tarot**

One of the things I enjoy most about Tarot is that two people can look at exactly the same card and notice completely different things.

And neither person necessarily has to be wrong!

We all bring our own experiences, understanding and perspective to what we see.

Of course, traditional meanings have their place, and they're an important part of learning.

But I also love encouraging students to look beyond the written words and explore the stories within the pictures.

What catches your attention?

What does the imagery suggest to you?

What else might this card be saying?

Those are the moments I particularly enjoy when teaching.

Soulful Sunday – A Heart Full of Gratitude
Sometimes you come home from an evening with a smile on your face, warmth in your heart, and a wonderful reminder of why you love doing what you do.

That is exactly how I felt after a fabulous Psychic Evening last night at the Bull Hotel in Long Melford.

Firstly, a huge thank you to Clair and Kaylie who organised it and brought everyone together and created such a lovely evening. To all the other readers who shared their gifts, it was a pleasure to be part of it with you, along with other stallholders.

But most of all, thank you to everyone who came along. Whether you had a reading, attended the demonstration, or simply came to enjoy the atmosphere, you all helped make the evening what it was.

I had the pleasure of giving some lovely 1-2-1 readings, and then there was the stand-up demonstration of mediumship, what an amazing experience. I loved every minute of it. Which brings me to the Spirit World, who never let me down and did their best to give me the information in a way that I can understand. Thank you for sharing our time with such love and respect.

For me, mediumship has always been about connection. The connection between ourselves, our loved ones in Spirit, and those moments when a message, a memory or a little piece of evidence means so much. It is a privilege to be able to share those moments.

As I reflect on the evening this Soulful Sunday, I am reminded that sometimes the greatest joy comes simply from doing what you love and sharing it with others.

So, from my heart to yours, thank you for being part of such a wonderful evening.

✨ **Do I Need to Know Anything About Reiki?** ✨

The simple answer is no! 💜

You don't need to have studied energy healing, practised meditation or have any special abilities.

Reiki Level I is where we begin.

We'll explore the history and principles of Reiki, learn how to work with the energy and enjoy practical experiences throughout the day.

I believe learning should be an enjoyable experience, with plenty of opportunities to ask questions, practise and discover things for yourself.

And remember, everyone learns and experiences things differently. That's part of what makes the journey so interesting.
