Hear all about it!
Listen to what my apprentice has to say about her training journey so far.
Raphy has been assisting me for four months in my classes learning the deeper arts of cueing, class management, working with real bodies, breaking exercises down, apparatus maintenance etc.
That will not stop.
But after 13 months of attending classes here at the studio, and starting her training with in January this year, I'm delighted to say she is ready to start taking classes without my supervision.
She has worked so hard to get here, I'm so excited to see her develop as a teacher and to continue supporting her training.
That's not to say she is finished, the real work starts once those last modules in June are complete...500 hours in fact of self practice, learning and listening to bodies.
When I said to .independent last month Pilates teacher training is a lucky dip and unregulated, I meant it.
There are Pilates education providers and there are certificates not even worth the paper they are printed on.
I love mentoring, and I would love another dedicated student or newly qualified teacher or two to join us.
Get in touch if you think you'd like the same support 😊
PS I don't teach counting in Hundred 🤣
