☀️ A lovely day enjoying the simple things, with a walk in the sunshine in the garden, followed by bread-making to enjoy with supper. 😋

Over the last couple of days, we have been getting creative with pottery painting, and we’ve also had fun celebrating Oktoberfest! 🇩🇪 We enjoyed a themed quiz, some tasty German snacks and one of our favourites - a game of bingo! 🥨😊

Our weekly Knit & Natter sessions are becoming increasingly popular with both residents and our team! 🧶

Over the past few weeks, we’ve been knitting squares to stitch together into a blanket, using some fantastic donations of supplies from our families. Knitting is a lovely way to support fine motor skills, creativity and wellbeing, while bringing everyone together. Our residents have shown great patience teaching our team, and it’s safe to say we’re hooked!

🍁 A wholesome few days creating autumnal print art, enjoying birthday celebrations and biscuit tasting, welcoming pet therapy and venturing out to World's End Garden Centre, part of The Blue Diamond Group, catching a glimpse of their Christmas displays!🌲

A wonderful morning spent with friends, family, neighbours and furry friends, all coming together to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support at our coffee morning. 💚

A huge thank you to our chefs for all the delicious cakes and treats, and to everyone who joined us and helped make the morning special.

A great way to start the weekend. ☕️🧁🍰

It’s been a busy couple of weeks here, so we thought we’d share some highlights of what we’ve been getting up to!

We’ve enjoyed getting creative with collages, scratch art, flower arranging, and making autumn leaf bowls, as well as some reminiscence activities looking back at history and sharing childhood memories.

We’ve also enjoyed an introduction to aromatherapy, cheese tasting, making fruit salad and had lots of fun making our own lemonade together.

With some lovely sunshine, we’ve been making the most of getting outside too, with walks to the High Street and local cafés to watch the world go by. ☀️☕️🍃🍂

🌟 A little catch-up from our recent activities! 🌟

We’ve been keeping busy and enjoying the warm weekend. From making delicious rocky road 🍫 and refreshing smoothies, to enjoying some well-deserved pampering, spending time with our lovely pet therapy visitors and getting creative with friendship bracelets.

Good luck to all the Investigators at Little Ferns Wendover starting their school adventure today! They will be missed by our residents, but we can’t wait to meet the new weekly visitors 😍

🌺 A week filled with some of our favourite things, as well as a few new experiences to try. 🍺

From pet therapy to flower arranging, a trip to the local Trenchard Museum, mosaic coaster making, afternoon tea and c***r tasting! And it was lovely to see so many join us for our regular church service, too.

🎶 We were treated to a beautiful performance from Wendover Children's Choir. A huge thank you to everyone at Wendover Singers for joining us and brightening our week.🌟

You were incredible, and it was a joy to hear you perform together, alongside some truly superb solo performances. You should all feel very proud of yourselves.

We can't wait to welcome you back later this year!
