We're still smiling as we look back on our Summer Fete, where residents, loved ones, colleagues, and visitors came together to enjoy a fantastic afternoon 🎟️🎪

With great entertainment, feathered friends, and lots of games, there was something to put a smile on everyone's face!

A big thank you to everyone who joined us, including the Mayor of Wi******er, St John's Wi******er, Otterbourne Hides & Studio, and Ukes in Common ☀️❤️

🍦☀️ We had a wonderful time celebrating National Ice Cream Day at St Catherines View!

Our Companionship Team transformed the activities trolley into a colourful ice cream stand, complete with fairy lights and plenty of delicious toppings 🍓🍫🌈 Resident Jo even got into the spirit with a fun ice cream-themed hat as our homemade 'ice cream van' made its way around the home!

A perfect day by the sea! 🌊🐟

Residents enjoyed a wonderful trip to Lee-on-the-Solent, complete with fish and chips, fresh sea air and beautiful coastal views.

From relaxing on the beach to enjoying time together outdoors, it was a lovely day filled with smiles, conversation and a refreshing change of scenery.

A little while back (before the weather got too hot!), we set off on a very special canal boat adventure! After hearing how much our resident Barbara had always wanted to enjoy a canal boat trip, our Companionship Team helped make her wish come true with a wonderful day out on the Basingstoke Canal 🌿🦆

Thanks to the fantastic team at the Accessible Boating Association, Barbara and her fellow residents enjoyed a relaxing cruise through the Hampshire countryside, spotting wildlife, learning about the canal's history, sharing a picnic, and even singing together on the journey home 🎶☕

Residents enjoyed patriotic cakes, party treats, American music and a fun quiz that sparked lots of memories and conversations about times spent in America.

Six adorable black-and-white kittens paid a visit to St Catherines View this week 🐾

Residents loved watching them explore the lounges, sit on unsuspecting shoes and, after all that excitement, curl up on laps for a nap. Ceridwen was particularly smitten and was delighted to hear they'll be back for another visit before heading to their new homes.

Residents at St Catherines View enjoyed a wonderful afternoon of live music with Amanda Parsons 🎶

There was plenty of singing along, and Gill even joined Amber for a dance. Barbara was all smiles as familiar songs filled the room, making for a lively and enjoyable afternoon.
