• Watch a cookery demonstration using fresh herbs and vegetables from the garden
• Enjoy Pimm's and a tasting buffet in the garden including lavender biscuits and other treats

⭐🌟 Supporting our community! ⭐🌟
🌳☀️ What a lovely afternoon at the Picnic in the Park event held at Tarring Park near Tarring Manor Care Home! It was wonderful to enjoy the sunshine and good company.

A particular highlight was meeting the local Mayor of Worthing, Lysanne Skinner, chatting and connecting with local people, and feeling a strong sense of community. Events like this are a great reminder of what makes our community so special. 💚

Another wonderful week of harvesting from our garden 🍅The gardening club have taste tested their tomatoes, mint and some spring onion. Soon it will be time to harvest some great new green zebra tomatoes too 😄

Over the last few weeks our staff have been completing a questionnaire of fun facts, funny stories and hidden talents for our residents to guess. We had a brilliant time learning more about the wonderful staff at Tarring ☺️

Looking for a friendly way to end your week? Pop into our Paws for Coffee Morning, a relaxed community event where local dog owners and their four-legged companions are invited to enjoy a cuppa, a chat and some tail-wagging joy with our residents.
Dogs bring such comfort, joy and companionship, especially to those living in care and this is a wonderful way to help spark memories, conversation and smiles. Whether you're a regular or new to the area, you’ll find a warm welcome, complimentary refreshments and a great excuse to get out and connect with others.

Our Customer Relations Manager Tracey, helped out in the wider community and spent Saturday morning volunteering at the litter pick with Friends of Tarring Park, who were joined by Worthing Deputy Mayor Henna Chowdhury.

Everyone went back to Tarring Manor Care Home afterwards for delicious coffee and pastries with the residents.

The Tarring Gardening Club have been out in the garden checking on our wonderful planting area. Our bird feeders are refilled, our plants are watered and the growing area is looking fabulous 🥰 We have harvested some of our Cherry tomatoes and Mint already and look forward to using it soon 🪴

Our residents baked some splendid cupcakes last week which turned out fantastic. In our baking session we made some vanilla cupcakes and added our own twist with different designs and toppings. Our cakes were also a big hit at our Summer Party and tasted delicious 🤩
