🚨 Bleed Kits Save Lives! 🚨

From talking to people in our classes, we know that some people think bleed kits are only to help with knife injuries, while others are scared to use them in case they hurt the casualty further.

We have teamed up with the to spread awareness about how bleed kits can mean the difference between life or death - whether the bleed was caused by a knife or anything else.

There's no need to be scared of the equipment in a bleed kit! Tourniquets can be used by first aiders, haemostatic gauze helps quickly clot bleeds, and chest seals will help prevent a chest puncture leading to a collapsed lung.

So whether you operate a busy workplace, run a club, drive a lot, or just want to be prepared, having a simple bleed kit could make a huge difference to the outcome of a life-threatening bleed.

On our workplace courses, we train everyone on these items to make sure they are prepared to save lives.

Remember, don't fear the bleed kit! Get one, know how to use it, and be ready to save a life.
