Death Notice of Linda Muller O'Toole (Ballintubber)

Lindy passed away peacefully in Mayo University Hospital, Castlebar, surrounded by loved ones.

Predeceased by her father Jimmy and mother Marjorie. Sadly missed by her loving children Aidan and Ciara, grandchildren Cleona, Emmie and Àron, sister Mandy and brother Frankie, brother in law Denis and sister in law Helen, nieces and nephews, relatives, her extensive circle of friends from England, Ireland, France, Spain. and beyond.

May she rest in peace.

Reposing at Flanagan’s Funeral Home, Ballymoe, from 5pm to 7pm on Saturday May 30th.

Funeral Mass on Sunday May 31st at 1pm in St Bride’s Church, Ballintubber.

Followed by private cremation on Monday June 1st.

House private on Saturday and Sunday morning.

Family flowers only.

25th May 2026

The death has occurred of Padraig Hester, Vale View, Castlerea, County Roscommon, in his 90th year, in the tender care of Roscommon Hospice, surrounded by those he loved the most.

Padraig is predeceased by his parents, Bridget and James; his brothers Michael and Frank: and his nephew Seamus.

He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife Patricia, son James, daughter Bernadette, son-in-law Graham, grandchildren Gavin, Megan and Logan, brother Canon Seamus, sister Anna, sister-in-law Marie, his many nieces and nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

May His Gentle Soul Rest in Peace

Reposing at his family residence on Wednesday evening from 4pm until 7pm.

Removal on Thursday morning to St. Paul's Church, Kilmurray (Eircode F45K889) arriving for funeral Mass at 12 noon.

Followed by burial immediately afterwards in Rathmoyle cemetery.

we ask that everyone please to co-operate as it will be ran by volunteer neighbours and friends.

We ask that every enters from the Lisalway end of Valeview and exit at Corlis end.

Ie. if you are coming from the Tulsk side or the Castlerea side please turn down by Lavins shop in Lisalway;

and then left across Valeview.

The death has occurred of Tom Filan, Mulligallon, Castleplunkett, Castlerea, Co. Roscommon. May 11th 2026, aged 85.

Peacefully in the care of the staff of Sligo University Hospital, in the presence of his loving family.

Predeceased by his parents Margaret and Jack, brothers Luke and Peter, sister Lily (O'Grady), brother-in-law Matt and Michael, and sister-in-law Mae.

Sadly missed and remembered with love by his sister Margaret (Hunt), neices and nephews, Martina, Oliver, Margaret, Regina, Orla, John, Michelle, Finbarr, Peter, Yvonne, Liam, Denise, Mairead and Shane, grandnieces, grandnephews, great grandniece, great grandnephew, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Flanagans Funeral Home, Castleplunkett this Thursday evening 14th May 2026 from 5pm until 7pm.

Followed by removal to St Paul's Church, Kilmurray.

Requiem Mass on Friday 15th May 2026 at 11am.

Followed by burial afterwards in Toberelva cemetery.

Reposing at the home of her son Bernard and his wife Lorraine, Castleplunkett this Tuesday evening 5th May 2026 from 7pm.

Followed by removal tomorrow Wednesday 6th May 2026 to Dublin for funeral.

Predeceased by his loving wife Mary, infant son Jonathon, parents Elizabeth and Jack and infant grandson Eoghan.

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Christina (Chris) Finan (née Feeney), Laragh, Ballintubber, Castlerea, Co. Roscommon, on the 23rd April, 2026.
Chris passed away peacefully in the care of Roscommon Hospice, surrounded by her loving family.

Predeceased by her parents, Tom and Mary, and her siblings Tom, Margaret, Anne and Jack.

Chris is lovingly remembered by her husband Michael and her daughter Niamh (Kenny) and son-in-law Sean.

Chris is also mourned by her sisters Nora (Treacy) and Mary Feeney (London), her brothers Pat (Bristol) and Peter (London), brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, as well as her nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours.
