Michael (Mickie) Shiel, Ballymoe, Co Galway, 18th August 2026, age 91, passed away peacefully, Portiuncula Hospital, Ballinasloe, in the loving care of his family.

Predeceased by his loving wife Mary, his sisters Margaret and Threna and brothers John and Eoin.

Sadly missed and remembered by his sister Angela (O'Brien), nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, great grandnieces and great grandnephews, extended family, good neighbours and a large circle of friends.

May his gentle soul rest in peace

Reposing at Flanagans Funeral Home, Ballymoe, this Thursday evening 20th August, from 5pm to 7pm.

Followed by removal to St. Croan’s Church, Ballymoe. (F45 R9Y4).

Requiem Mass at 12 noon Friday 21st August.

Followed by burial immediately afterwards in Kilcroan Cemetery, Ballymoe.(F45 YT54).

The death has occurred of Margaret Hunt (née Filan), Milltown, Castleplunkett, Castlerea, Co. Roscommon and formerly of Mulligallon, Castleplunkett, peacefully, 10th July 2026 at University College Hospital Roscommon, surrounded by her loving family.

Predeceased by her loving husband Michael, her parents Margaret and Jack, sister Lily (O’Grady), brothers Luke, Peter and recently deceased Tom, brother-in-law Matt, and sister-in-law Mae.

Sadly missed and remembered with love by her children Regina, Orla, John and Michelle, her grandchildren Sarah, Alía, Andrew, Anthony, Michael, Matthew, Molly and Aoibheann, her great-grandchildren Casey and Lena, her sons-in-law Fergus, Sean and John, daughter-in-law Ailbhe,
nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

May her gentle soul rest in eternal peace.

Reposing at her residence this Sunday evening 12th July 2026 from 5pm until 8pm.

Removal will take place on Monday morning 13th July.

Arriving at St. Paul's Church, Kilmurray for Funeral Mass at 12pm.

Followed by burial immediately afterwards in Ballintubber cemetery.

Traffic Management

Please be aware that there will be a traffic management system in place on the evening of the funeral.

We will be using a one way system.

Entry to Milltown will be off the R367 between Castleplunkett and Ballintubber; you will be guided by helping neighbours and friends on how to enter, park and exit from the Hunt's family home.

We ask and thank everyone in advance to be patient and heed direction from the parking attendants.

Pauline passed away peacefully, 1st July 2026 at Midlands Regional Hospital, Mullingar,

surrounded by her loving family.

Predeceased by her father Tom and mother Bea.

Pauline will be sadly missed by her loving husband Declan, son Mícheál, grandchildren Anna, Róisín, Aoibhínn and Tadhg, sisters Mary Finn and Kathleen Kelly, brothers Martin (Mary), Peter (Maureen) and Tom (Nonie), sisters-in-law Eileen Gilroy(Des) and Deirdre Richardson and a large circle of friends.

Padraig is predeceased by his parents, Bridget and James; his brothers Michael and Frank: and his nephew Seamus.

He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife Patricia, son James, daughter Bernadette, son-in-law Graham, grandchildren Gavin, Megan and Logan, brother Canon Seamus, sister Anna, sister-in-law Marie, his many nieces and nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.
