We are looking for a Respiratory Therapist to join our team working Monday through Thursday from 7 PM – 7 AM. In this role, you will collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and the healthcare team to deliver respiratory medications, promote bronchial hygiene, manage mechanical ventilators, and monitor patients’ oxygenation status. Qualified candidates must have an Associate Degree in Respiratory Therapy, with 1–2 years of experience preferred. Required credentials include a Georgia Composite Board license as a Respiratory Care Professional and NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification. Candidates must also hold BLS certification, with ACLS and PALS required within 12 months. We welcomed 40 new nurse externs to the Phoebe Family this month. These nursing students will work at Phoebe while they complete their degrees, and ALL of them have signed commitments to continue working at Phoebe after they graduate. We're proud of our workforce development initiatives that are boosting the number of new healthcare professionals in our area, and we're excited to have these new externs join the Phoebe Family from these schools: ABAC, Albany State University, Albany Technical College, Georgia Southwestern State University and Southern Regional Technical College.
