🌧️ Rainy days = indoor exploration! 🌸

We brought the garden indoors and got creative with sand, dirt, rocks, and colorful plastic flowers! Building our very own flower garden was a fun way to explore textures, use our imaginations, and work on fine motor skills! 💕🌷

Swinging high and jumping into crash pillows helps children build important skills, including:
⭐ Vestibular processing (balance and body awareness)
⭐ Core strength and postural control
⭐ Motor planning and coordination
⭐ Body awareness and spatial awareness
⭐ Emotional regulation and sensory processing
⭐ Confidence to try new challenges

That exciting “crash” at the end provides calming proprioceptive input that can help children feel more organized, focused, and ready for whatever comes next.

We sure love working on tummy time in OT & PT!

We use fun & engaging tummy time activities to help infants strengthen their neck, shoulder, back, and core muscles while encouraging skills like:
💪 Head control
🤲 Reaching and weight-bearing through the arms
👀 Visual tracking
🔄 Rolling
🚼 Preparing for crawling and other future milestones

Every minute spent on their tummy helps babies build the strength and confidence they need to explore the world around them.
