Donte has conquered his torn shoulder and broken ankle from a work injury. After successfully, completing physical therapy and the work hardening program, he’s now ready to help keep the lights on, no matter the conditions. Donte is one of Alaska’s extremely valuable utility workers and we thank him for that. Denton hopes to be as strong as Donte when retirement is just around the corner.

No better way to celebrate a 90th birthday than graduating from physical therapy. Lina put in consistent work in the clinic and at home with her family to get her shoulder stronger, more mobile, and to get herself ready for summer.  Age is only a number while positivity and effort define you. Great job Lina!

Congratulations on graduating from physical therapy after your spinal fusion! Your hard work, motivation, and positive attitude throughout this entire journey have been incredible to watch. Even when sessions got challenging with all of the core and lower extremity strengthening exercises, you always stayed engaged, determined, and in great spirits. Although there is still more progress ahead, you have come such a long way and should be very proud of everything you’ve accomplished.

We will truly miss your wonderful conversations and the energy you brought into the clinic. Wishing you all the best with school, work, hiking, 4-wheeling, dancing at summer concerts and all of your summer adventures ahead. Most importantly, making memories at this summer— you’ve earned it!

Three members of the Denali Physical Therapy crew traded the clinic for the softball field and helped their team pull off a fun win on one of Alaska’s beautiful warm summer days.

We love seeing our team stay active, build community, and enjoy the outdoors together. Congratulations on the victory—and thanks for representing Denali both on and off the field!

Work hardening isn’t easy, but it is worth it. Derek pushed himself through all six weeks of the program despite a few health setbacks along the way. He showed us that what life looks like shortly after a significant head injury does not have to define the rest of your story.

Here’s to even better chapters ahead.

Happy Graduation Ed! 👏🎶

After an ankle injury threatened the things he loves most, Ed put in the work every single day to get back to singing, songwriting, and performing. His drive, dedication, and work ethic were incredible to watch. He consistently pushed himself, never backed down from a challenge, and always brought optimism, humor, and energy into the clinic.

It’s been an absolute privilege being part of your journey back to doing what you love.
