Meet Alayna Roland, AMFT ✨

Alayna is passionate about walking alongside clients through Christ-centered therapy, helping individuals discover healing, growth, and hope through both clinical support and the truth of God’s Word.

With experience supporting survivors of trauma, and individuals navigating anxiety, depression, and life challenges, Alayna provides a compassionate and safe space for clients to process their story and move toward restoration. She integrates cognitive behavioral therapy and narrative therapy interventions while encouraging clients to see that God can bring purpose and healing even in difficult seasons.

Outside of the therapy room, Alayna prioritizes her own mental wellness by spending time in nature, baking sweet treats, and getting lost in a good book 📚🌿🧁

“Helping others through Christ-centered therapy has been my calling, and it's a blessing to see my clients learn and apply ways to improve their mental health.”

We are grateful to have Alayna serving the community at Selah Counseling Center 🤍

Looking for a therapist who brings warmth, creativity, and genuine connection into the therapy room?

✨ Meet Hannah Ortler, LPCC ✨

Hannah works with children, parents, and adults, creating a space where healing is rooted in partnership, laughter, and authentic relationship. She believes therapy should feel both safe and engaging—and that creativity and connection are powerful parts of the healing process.

Whether you’re seeking support for yourself, your child, or your family, Hannah is passionate about walking alongside clients through every season of growth and healing. 💛

When she’s not serving clients, you can find her enjoying God’s Word, coffee, fall weather, and the mountains ☕🍂🏔️

Research shows that couples who nurture multiple forms of intimacy report up to 70% higher relationship satisfaction (Journal of Social and Personal Relationships).

Intimacy is emotional, physical, intellectual, experiential, spiritual, creative, and even the way you handle conflict. In fact, 69% of relationship problems are “perpetual” — meaning they never fully go away — but healthy conflict skills can make them bring you closer instead of apart (Dr. John Gottman).

Real intimacy is about knowing and being known in every area of life. This week, choose one area to intentionally nurture — your relationship will thank you.urture — your relationship will thank you.

Liberty, a beloved pet therapy dog at Selah Counseling Center, brought comfort, joy, and healing to countless individuals with her gentle presence. Her unconditional love and calming energy provided solace to those in need, offering a unique kind of support that words alone often could not.

Animals offer numerous benefits to humans, from emotional support to physical health improvements. Their presence has been shown to reduce stress, anxiety, and depression, promoting a sense of calm and security. Petting or interacting with animals can lower blood pressure and trigger the release of endorphins, which enhance mood and overall well-being. Beyond the emotional advantages, animals also provide opportunities for physical activity and social interaction, which can improve the physical health of their owners. Ultimately, the bond between humans and animals fosters a sense of companionship, responsibility, and unconditional love, enriching both lives in profound ways.

Pet therapy is a powerful tool in healing, reminding us that love, companionship, and connection can be found in the most unexpected places, offering hope and encouragement for all who seek it. Though Liberty has passed away, we honor her memory and the profound impact she had on the lives she touched.
