A HUGE thank you to our incredible volunteers! ⛳️ The 2026 Sound & Voice Golf Tournament wouldn’t have been possible without the amazing people who gave their time and energy to help make the day run smoothly!

From set-up and check-in to the Fairway Poker Run, Co****le Challenge, Envelope Pull, and so much more, our volunteers were busy from start to finish making sure our golfers had a fun and memorable experience.

👂💙 Sometimes the best therapy happens away from the table!

Auditory Verbal Therapy doesn’t always mean sitting in a chair and working through a structured activity. Sometimes it means getting down on the floor, following a child’s interests, playing, moving, laughing, and turning those everyday moments into meaningful opportunities for listening and language. ✨

Meeting children where they are helps keep learning natural, engaging, and FUN! Whether we’re at the table, on the floor, or moving around the room, there are always opportunities to practice listening, build vocabulary, encourage communication, and strengthen connection.

Because when you’re little, play is powerful learning! 🧸👂💬

Representation matters. 💕👂✨

During Auditory-Verbal Therapy, even the toys can be part of the listening journey! We love that this little friend wears a cochlear implant too—giving our client the opportunity to see hearing technology represented through something she knows best: play.

Play creates so many natural opportunities to build listening and spoken language skills, introduce new vocabulary, and encourage meaningful communication. And when children see themselves reflected in the toys they play with, it makes those moments even more special. 💜

🐝 BUZZZZZZZ says the bee! 💛👂

Can you just hear the giggles through these photos?! 😍 There’s nothing sweeter than seeing a little listener light up during a fun, engaging activity!

Something as simple as a buzzing bee can create wonderful opportunities for listening, anticipation, imitation, turn-taking, and language. “Buzzzzz!” is a fun sound to listen for, react to, and eventually try to imitate—all while building connection through play. 🐝✨

In Auditory-Verbal Therapy, we love helping families discover how simple playful moments like this can become meaningful listening and spoken language opportunities at home.

🍎💻 Who says therapy can’t make a splash—even through a screen?!

Leonardo, his mom, and his Auditory Verbal Therapist had so much fun during this teletherapy activity! Using floating apples and Post-it notes, they turned a simple at-home activity into an engaging opportunity for listening, language, following directions, and lots of laughter. 🍎💦

One of the things we love about Auditory Verbal Therapy is showing families how everyday materials and a little creativity can create meaningful listening and spoken language opportunities—no matter where therapy takes place.

And the best part? Mom gets to be right in the middle of the fun, learning strategies she can continue using long after the session ends. 💙
