This is something I say to my patients a lot, and I mean it every time.

Recovery is not a straight line. There are good days and hard days. Days where you feel strong and days where you wonder if you are making any progress at all.

But here is what I have seen again and again: the people who heal are not the ones who push the hardest. They are the ones who keep showing up. Consistently. Patiently. Kindly to themselves.
