We are to celebrate breast cancer survivor Dionne. At just 35 years old, Dionne found a lump in her breast and trusted her instincts to get it checked by a doctor. What followed was a life-changing breast cancer diagnosis, a journey through treatment, and a powerful moment of hope when she rang the bell surrounded by loved ones. Her story is one of courage, resilience, and acting early.

Every year, Lisa got her mammogram. This time, the call was different. 💜

"Wait, are you telling me I have cancer?"

After being diagnosed with breast cancer, she participated in a philanthropy-funded clinical trial with us. With the support of family and friends, she fought through treatment and kept living. She traveled. She worked. She thrived.

The clinical trial that helped Lisa was made possible through the generosity of donors whose support advances cancer research and expands access to innovative treatments. "I found it groundbreaking. I found that it worked. I owe that to the donors for making this possible."

This National Cancer Survivors Day, we celebrate Lisa — and thank every donor whose generosity turns research into hope.

Watch Lisa's story below.
