As the first few weeks of the school year have passed, you may have noticed an increase in stress for yourself or students you know. For Mental Health Monday, we wanted to cover stress in students of all ages—from highschool to lifelong learners📚
Numerous reports depict high rates of stress among U.S. teens (aged 13-17) in school. When we talk about stress, we mean the physical and mental responses to some external event🌀
Stress can manifest in ways which adversely impact the body, mood, and behavior, so it’s important to find methods of curbing stress. The main methods include maintaining a healthy sleep schedule and diet, exercising, and spending time doing things you love🏋️
Students have intense schedules, but by utilizing time management practices, it can be achievable to reverse symptoms of stress🎓
