Early this morning I woke with a pit feeling in my stomach. I am sure you are familiar with this feeling a few times in your life. The knot. Strong. Asking for my attention.
It is humorous how many times it is easy to default back to, I don't want this. What's wrong now? What am I missing? Why does this feel like fear... again?
When we look at our lives through the perspective that we are energetic, conscious beings in physical form, birthed through this Earth and made of these same elements, having a tangible life experience, we can begin to come to terms with the realization that we will always experience feelings.
It is what we do with those feelings that creates the relationship we have with ourselves and with the natural world around us.
What if every feeling is information?
What if instead of trying to get rid of the feeling, we became curious about what it is trying to communicate?
Let me explain a little further.
Through my experiences of helping hundreds of women during thousands of energy balancing sessions, I have noticed one thing that is always present.
Energy.
It fluctuates. Sometimes it is strong, other times it is quiet and stays close to the body. Sometimes it races and twitches. Other times it feels smooth and graceful. It is constantly communicating.
Through our learned beliefs, life experiences, emotional patterns, and the stories we tell ourselves, our energy begins to flow, constrict, or expand based on what we are feeling.
Everything is information.
The racing heart.
The knot in the stomach.
The excitement that won't let you sleep.
The exhaustion asking for an afternoon nap.
Our bodies are always communicating with us. We simply haven't been taught how to understand the language.
Through the Inner Seasons lens, we can begin to put language to what our body is trying to say to us. It simplifies things.
What does it mean when your energy is close to the body and you don't want to participate with others? When all you want to do is stay home?
Perhaps your energy is asking for rebuilding.
Rest is required.
Tenderness.
Nourishment.
Not adding more load to the body and nervous system, but allowing space for restoration.
This is what I refer to as Winter.
Then something shifts.
Ideas begin to appear.
Excitement quietly returns.
Curiosity wakes back up.
This is Spring.
Spring is young, youthful energy looking to expand and create in some way. Think of a young child who becomes completely immersed in excitement and then suddenly needs a nap. Our energy can be the same way. Strong in the morning and needing rest in the afternoon.
Spring asks us to nourish the dream.
To care for it.
To allow the roots to deepen before asking it to produce.
This gentle building of energy naturally carries us into Summer, where we have the strength to play, connect, create, and carry the dream into action in a sustainable way.
Experiencing this natural rhythm in my own life has been fascinating for my curious mind.
The more I observe, the more it simply makes sense.
Nature has always shown us these rhythms. Our bodies have always been living them. We have simply forgotten how to recognize them within ourselves.
That is why I want to share this framework with women who are learning, growing, healing, or simply wanting to understand themselves more deeply.
When we begin to understand our energy instead of judging it, we stop asking, "What's wrong with me?" and begin asking, "What is this feeling trying to tell me?"
Because everything is information.
And every season carries wisdom.
