A little behind the scenes at Bionic! 🦿✨

After losing some weight and volume in her residual limb, our patient was ready for a new socket to get her back to a comfortable fit. We took her cast and started the process of creating her new test socket, with a few custom modifications just for her.

She’ll be back soon to try it out and see how it feels. We’re excited to see the progress and get her one step closer to a great fit! 💙

Pediatric scoliosis bracing can be challenging, especially when you do not feel confident with how the brace looks. With a Rigo Chêneau style scoliosis brace, fit and correction are important, but so is making the brace feel personal enough to wear it for the prescribed 18 hours each day.

At the Ft. Myers, FL office, we delivered this young gymnast with her scoliosis brace in her favorite color.🩷 She was so excited about it that she even showed off a few of her gymnastic poses while wearing her new brace.🤸

In pediatric orthotics, the design and color selection can make a big difference in acceptance, and overall brace compliance. At Bionic, delivering confidence is one of our main goals and we were more than excited to give this patient just that.
