Today, Roswell Park was honored to welcome representatives from the Prevent Cancer Foundation’s Congressional Families® Program, along with U.S. Representatives Tim Kennedy and Jim McGovern and a representative of the Seneca Nation of Indians.
Their visit highlighted Roswell Park’s leadership in cancer prevention, screening, early detection and community outreach, providing an opportunity to showcase the innovative ways we bring care directly into communities through mobile screening programs and community-based initiatives.
We are especially proud to have been recognized earlier this year with the Prevent Cancer Foundation’s Carolyn “Bo” Aldigé Visionary Award, a testament to the impact of this work across Western New York.
By working together to expand education, access and collaboration, we can continue advancing cancer prevention and improving outcomes for the communities we serve.
