What an incredible turnout for our 13th Annual Chipping In for Community Services Golf Tournament! The generosity of our participants was on full display as they enthusiastically supported our raffles and competed in the silent auction, bidding on an outstanding selection of prizes. We were proud to be a vendor at the Disability Pride of WNY Festival and enjoyed sharing information about the programs and services we offer. We answered questions and spoke to people about our vocational, behavioral, respite, and habilitation services.

It was a joy to see everyone at the festival having fun and enjoying the live entertainment and the many activities offered that day. We were proud to be part of this celebration of pride, inclusion, empowerment, and to honor disability identity.

Today, July 26, Community Services for Every1 celebrates the 36th anniversary of the signing of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). This landmark legislation provides civil rights protections to individuals with disabilities, guaranteeing them equal access to public accommodations, employment, transportation, state and local government services, and more. The purpose of the ADA is to ensure that people with disabilities have the same rights and opportunities as everyone else.

The ADA was a groundbreaking step toward building a more accessible, equitable, and inclusive world for all. We honor its legacy and the lasting impact it continues to have on millions of lives.

Kids had fun making carnival-themed foods like corn dogs and fried Oreos, all while making friends and enjoying a movie at our carnival-themed cooking camp. Our free one-day camps help kids build cooking and food preparation skills in a fun, welcoming social environment. Campers get to enjoy the food they make and even take some home to share with family and friends.

Thank you to everyone who joined us to celebrate the groundbreaking of The Nest! Your support marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter for downtown Niagara Falls.

The Nest will bring 73 affordable and market-rate apartments, including 21 supportive homes for formerly homeless survivors of domestic violence. It will also feature ground-floor commercial space dedicated to job readiness and workforce development training, helping create new opportunities for residents and the community.

We're grateful to our partners, supporters, elected officials, and community members who joined us in celebrating this milestone. The Nest reflects our mission to create opportunities, promote independence, and build stronger, more inclusive communities where everyone has the chance to thrive.
