Is gluten bad for you?

No, gluten isn’t “bad” for most people. Gluten is just a protein found in foods like wheat, barley, and rye.

That said, if you have celiac disease, avoiding gluten is essential. Some people with non-celiac gluten sensitivity might also feel better limiting it.

If you’ve been dealing with digestive symptoms, talk with your primary care team before cutting gluten on your own. Testing for celiac disease only works if you’re still eating it, and we can help diagnose what’s actually going on.

Strong now, strong later. 💪 Bone health isn’t something to think about AFTER menopause – it’s something you build now. As women’s estrogen levels decrease, bones can lose density, which increases the risk of fractures.

So what can you do now? Get enough vitamin D, and make time for weight-bearing movement like walking, strength training, and yoga. Future you will thank you.
