We are so proud to share that 3 of our managers just completed the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine’s Dementia Care Specialist Program. As our resident population with dementia grows, Martin-Boyd is equipping staff to better educate and care for these precious residents.

We were whisked away to Puerto Rico without ever leaving home! 🌴✈️

A special thank you to Nancy, one of our resident’s daughters, for sharing highlights from her recent trip to the beautiful island through a wonderful slideshow presentation. Residents enjoyed this fun “armchair travel” experience and loved learning about Puerto Rico’s culture, scenery, and attractions from the comfort of Martin Boyd!

Last week, we had the pleasure of welcoming Dustin and Kristi from Hearth Hospice for a fun afternoon of flower arranging! 🌸 Our residents enjoyed getting creative and designing beautiful floral arrangements while sharing plenty of smiles and conversation. Today at Martin Boyd, we’re especially grateful for the veterans, families, and heroes whose strength and courage continue to inspire us every day. Their service will never be forgotten, and their legacy lives on in the hearts of all who have the privilege to enjoy the freedoms they fought to protect.

Happy Mother’s Day from all of us at Martin Boyd Christian Home! 💐

Our annual Mother’s Day Tea was such a beautiful success, and we truly loved spending the day with our residents, families, and loved ones. It was so special to come together to celebrate the incredible mothers, grandmothers, and mother figures who mean so much to all of us.

From sweet conversations to laughter shared over tea and treats, the day was filled with love, joy, and cherished memories. Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make this celebration so meaningful.
