Congratulations, Maria Wall (Transition of Care)! She recently received a Caring Spirit award from a grateful patient.

"Thank you so much for all your help you provided to us while my dad was in the hospital. You stepped in and helped us by contacting the surgeon and having him call me. Not only did you help with that, but you were very easy to get along with and that helped my dad's anxiety. Thank you for everything you did."

Through our Foundation’s Caring Spirit Award program, patients, family members, and others can honor a physician, nurse, staff member, or volunteer by making a donation to the Foundation. The recipient receives the donor's note of thanks along with a Caring Spirit pin.
