This booklet was written by generous families who have children who have received care through the Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center Division of Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics (DDBP). It was published in 2017 and created by the DDBP Family Advisory Council (FAC).

✨ NEXT Wednesday!
These classes are open to everyone, including caregivers whose children are seen in DDBP, caregivers of children with developmental delays or disabilities not seen in DDBP, and professionals, providers, and educators who want to learn more about supporting youth with developmental delays or disabilities.

This 2-hour introductory class discusses the signs and symptoms of childhood and teenage anxiety. Caregivers learn how to teach their child coping skills and address anxiety through cognitive approaches and positive behavioral supports.

Please note: As a variety of cognitive strategies are discussed, this class is designed for caregivers of youth ages 8 and older. However, all caregivers are welcome to attend.

Cost: Free

Who: Parents/caregivers of children with a developmental delay/disability and anxiety ages 8+

When: Wednesday, June 10th

Time: 5:15 pm-7:15 pm

Where: This class will be delivered via Zoom
