What a yummy way to set a world’s record!!

🍩 Colorado Springs is about to dunk its way into the record books.

This Sat on Pikes Peak - America's Mountain, hundreds of people will try to set a Guinness World Record for the most people dunking donuts into coffee at the same time. Yes, really.

⛰️ It’s all part of Colorado’s 150th birthday celebration. Show up early, catch the sunrise on America’s Mountain, then grab a world-famous Pikes Peak donut and join the dunk at 11 a.m. at the Summit Visitor Center.

These donuts aren’t ordinary. They’re made in the highest fryer in North America using a recipe that only works at 14,115 feet.

🌄 Sunrise. Coffee. Donuts. World record attempt.

A great trail, especially this time of year!

🥾 Looking for an easy win this week? Try the Palmer Mesa Trail in Colorado Springs.

You get 3.5 miles of paved and natural path, open foothill views, and some of the best red rock scenery around. Start at Blair Bridge Open Space, cross the historic stone arch bridge, and follow the trail along Mesa Road. It connects to the Foothills Trail and Mesa Valley Trail, so you can keep going if you’ve got the energy.

🚶‍♂️🚴 Walk it. Run it. Ride it. Bring your family. The gentle grades make it doable, and the sunset views over Garden of the Gods make it worth it.

It’s free. It’s open sunrise to sunset. Just get there early, parking fills up fast.
