🦅❤️ What began as an unexpected construction delay became one of our favorite campus stories.

When a pair of red-tailed hawks built a nest atop the Nancy B. Hamon Tower at Texas Health Dallas, work on a new helipad paused while the hawks raised their two chicks. Once the young hawks left the nest, construction resumed, and recently we celebrated the opening of Red Hawk Landing.

Named in honor of our feathered neighbors, the new helipad will help provide critically ill and injured patients with faster access to specialized care and lifesaving treatment.

Here's to new beginnings, lifesaving care, and the hawks that inspired it all. 🚁🦅💙

Texas Health shares what women should know about menopause and hormone replacement therapy, including common symptoms, treatment options and when to talk with your doctor.

For years, many women heard a simple message about hormone replacement therapy (HRT): avoid it. That message was passed down from mothers, grandmothers and even some doctors. Today, the guidance looks very different, and a lot of women are left wondering what is actually true.

From colleagues to friends and sources of strength. 💙

When Texas Health Southwest colleagues Christal Miller and Laura Rasor both faced cancer diagnoses, they leaned on each other for support. Their shared experience transformed a workplace connection into a powerful friendship built on resilience, encouragement and hope.
Read their story in Fort Worth magazine:

Last year, Christal Miller and Laura Rasor were diagnosed with aggressive forms of cancer nearly back-to-back — but through their battles, they also became stronger individuals and closer friends.
