Six patients. Four transplant surgeons. Thirteen hours of surgery.💙💚

Three people gave their kidneys to strangers at Methodist Dallas during the hospital's first "domino transplant" — where the organs were transplanted back-to-back-to-back all in a single day.😲

It happened last week, and just two days later, all six patients met each other for the first time. Nurses even gave them each a set a dominoes to mark this milestone!

All patients are now home and doing well!

Retired Dallas ISD principal Sharron Jackson spent a career schooling eighth-graders — on the basketball court and in the classroom — so she never expected a heart attack to teach her a lesson.
