❤️ Del Rio, this is about more than addiction. It’s about families, second chances, and bringing our community back together.
We have wonderful organizations in Del Rio helping children and pregnant mothers, but there is also a tremendous need for support for the parents and adults who are trying to get their lives back on track — people who may need help finding resources, connecting to recovery support, overcoming everyday barriers, and taking the next step toward stability and rebuilding their families.
That’s where Agape Way Foundation is working to make a difference. ❤️
Our vision is to build a place where people can come for resources, encouragement, accountability and hope — and where families who have been personally affected by addiction can find support, too. Recovery doesn’t just affect the person struggling; it affects the entire family.
Our thrift store is helping us lay the foundation for this work, but we are now working toward growing Agape Way into a Recovery Resource Center that can serve even more people and families in our community.
To do that, we need you.
🙏 Sponsor $50 a month.
🙏 Donate $10 or $20 toward a chicken plate — even if you can’t attend, you can donate your plate to someone who can’t afford one.
🙏 Donate pastries for our Cake Walk.
🙏 Volunteer your time.
🙏 Sponsor, donate, share this post, or simply come out and support us.
Join us Saturday, September 5, from 12–4 PM at Whitehead Memorial Museum for our Chicken Plate Fundraiser & Family Community Day.
Chicken plates are only $10, and we’ll have family fun, kids’ activities, a Cake Walk, Silent Auction and an opportunity to learn more about Agape Way Foundation, the work we are building, and our vision for recovery support in Del Rio.
This isn’t just about raising money. It’s about raising hope.
It’s about building a place where someone working toward recovery can find support and connection. Where people can be connected to resources and opportunities that help them move forward. And where families affected by addiction can know they don’t have to navigate everything alone.
Del Rio, we can build this together. ❤️
Come have a plate. Bring your family. Volunteer. Donate. Sponsor. Share.
Every $10, every hour volunteered, and every act of kindness helps us move one step closer to building a stronger recovery community and creating more opportunities for individuals and families to heal, rebuild and move forward.
