Juneteenth is a day to remember, reflect, and recommit โ€” to freedom, to one another, and to ongoing work of building a more just and equitable world.

Today, we pause to reflect on that commitment and recognize the communities whose strength continues to shape our understanding of healing. SOL Mental Health offices are closed in observance of Juneteenth. We'll be back Monday, ready for the work ahead.

Mental health awareness means understanding what symptoms of depression, anxiety, and other concerns look like โ€“ and how to navigate the path to support.

You can be high-functioning, successful, and surrounded by people who love you, and still be living with depression. One of the most important things to understand about this condition is that it doesn't always look the way we expect. And, even after the condition is identified, some are less likely to reach out for help.

Swipe through to learn about the most common misconceptions of living with depression so you know what to look for in yourself or someone you love.

PTSD can affect anyone, and it often goes unrecognized. Thatโ€™s why PTSD Awareness Month is so important โ€“ because awareness starts with understanding what youโ€™re up against.

Any person who has experienced or witnessed a traumatic event may struggle with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). Fortunately, PTSD is treatable, and SOL Mental Health clinicians are trained in trauma-informed care and evidence-based treatments to help you find steadier ground after trauma.

Today is World Caring Day, and at SOL Mental Health, caring isn't just something we observe once a year. It's at the heart of everything we do.

World Caring Day traces its roots to June 7, 1997, when software engineer Sona Mehring created the first CaringBridge website, an act of compassion that allowed loved ones to stay connected during a health crisis. This sparked what would become a global movement centered on care, hope, and human connection.

In mental health, that same spirit of caring makes all the difference. Whether it's a therapist who truly listens, a friend who checks in, or simply choosing to ask, "How are you really doing?" โ€” caring is medicine.

Today, we invite you to:

๐Ÿ’™ Reach out to someone you've been thinking about
๐Ÿ’™ Check in with intention, not just out of habit
๐Ÿ’™ Remind the people in your life that they are not alone

Because at SOL, we believe that feeling genuinely cared for is the foundation of healing.

June is Men's Mental Health Awareness Month โ€“ a month that matters more than you might think.

Did you know? Men are significantly less likely to seek mental health support, even as they face debilitating anxiety, depression, or stress at rates that deserve just as much attention and care. This month is a reminder that strength isn't staying silent, but in having the courage to reach out for help.

Swipe to see just a few ways men can start prioritizing their mental well-being this June and beyond:
