The Gardens June Resident Spotlight

✨ Brian Dugan ✨

Brian was born and raised in Niagara Falls, NY. He was married to his wife Kimberly for 30 years. They first met through a newspaper ad and then had their first date at a donut shop in town. They have 2 sons Aaron and Timothy and 1 grandson Zefram Brian. Brian also worked at Walmart for 17 years and KMart for 16 years.

In his free time he likes to play video games and watch movies in his apartment. Brian’s favorite part about living at the Gardens is how nice the people here are. He has lived here for over 1 year and said it’s very easy to get to know everyone here.

Support a great cause while enjoying an evening of community, motorcycles, and fun. All proceeds from this event will go directly toward campus renovations and improvements at Luther Park.

Motorcyclists are invited to join the group ride departing from Luther Park and ending at Captain Roy’s.

Not a rider?
No problem! Everyone is welcome to attend the after-party celebration at Captain Roy’s.

🍳 One of the questions we hear most often about Luther Park Apartments and Rose Glen is: “Do you provide meals?”

The answer is yes—with flexibility!!

Residents enjoy a complimentary continental breakfast each morning, and lunch meal tickets are available for purchase through the leasing office for those who would like to dine on campus.

Our Independent Living communities are designed for adults who want the freedom and privacy of their own apartment while still enjoying the benefits of community living. Each apartment includes a kitchen, allowing residents to prepare meals on their own schedule while having the convenience of optional dining available.

What truly makes Luther Park Apartments and Rose Glen special is the sense of community. From resident-led potlucks and social gatherings to campus events and activities, there are plenty of opportunities to connect with neighbors and build lasting friendships.

🌟 June Gardens "Lindens" Resident Spotlight: 🌟

Sally

Sally was born and raised in Waterloo, IA. She worked as an educator and counselor for the youth in her area before returning. Sally is very well versed, and majored in English and French in collage as well.

Some things she enjoys includes reading, walking, and talking with others. She used to travel to France and had many great memories there. Sallys favorite thing about living at the Gardens is the coffee and spending time with the other residents who live here. .

Join us for our upcoming Family & Resident Support Group

🗓️Thursday June 11th
⏰Two Sessions at 1:00pm & 5:30pm

Our very own Admissions Nurse will be presenting “Supporting You Through Every Step,” a discussion focused on navigating transitions through different levels of care.

Topics will include recognizing when it may be time for additional support, understanding available care options on campus, and exploring what each level of care offers for individuals, couples, and families

This is a great opportunity to ask questions, gain insight, and feel supported through every stage of the journey. It’s never to early to look ahead.

Light refreshments will be served at the 1pm session and dinner will be served at the 5:30pm session.

Huge shoutout to our maintenance team for getting our outdoor fountain up and running!

Our residents have been outside all week enjoying the soothing sounds of the waterfalls in front of Trinity. We can’t wait to add some plants around the fountains next! 🌷
